Is the calendar widget free?
Yes. It is free for any website, including commercial ones. We only ask that you keep the small "Economic calendar by Marlin" credit line that comes with the snippet.
Where does the data come from?
Every date is copied from the publishing agency's own schedule (BLS, BEA, the Federal Reserve, EIA, the Census Bureau, the Department of Labor, the ECB and the Bank of England) and checked regularly. The widget shows scheduled times only: no forecasts, no consensus figures, no signals.
Does the widget track my visitors?
No. The widget page loads no analytics, sets no cookies and has no affiliate links. Links to marlinfx.com carry a UTM tag with your site's name so we can see which sites send readers.
Which time zone does it show?
Each visitor sees release times in their own device time zone, with a countdown to each release. Releases disappear two hours after their scheduled time.
How do I change the size or colours?
Pick light or dark, the number of rows, the markets and whether to show only the core releases above; the snippet updates as you go. The iframe height is set from the number of rows.
