Prop Challenge Tracker
Your limits, progress and trade rule check in one place.
A free two-table tracker for funded-account traders: a challenge table (limits, progress, date the rules were last read) and a trade journal with a rule check. Download the CSV files and import them into Notion, or any spreadsheet.
Challenge tracker One row per account: limits, progress and the day the rules were last read.
- Account, Firm, Phase, Start date, Start balance
- Profit target %, Max daily loss %, Max total loss %
- Drawdown type (balance, equity, trailing)
- Min trading days, Time limit (days)
- Current balance, Status
- Rules read on, Rules source URL
Trade journal One row per trade, with the rule check next to the result.
- Date, Account, Instrument, Direction, Setup
- Risk % of balance, Planned R:R, Result (R)
- News within 2h (Y/N)
- Rule check (Y/N), Mistake, Notes
Import into Notion Three steps, about a minute.
- In Notion choose Import, then CSV, and pick a file.
- Set "Drawdown type", "Phase" and "Status" to Select.
- Fill one row per account. Copy limits from the firm's official rules page.
Keep it honest It stores your numbers; it never invents them.
No rule values come pre-filled, because they change. Write the date you read the rules in "Rules read on" and re-check before every phase. Check the daily and total loss left with the drawdown calculator and the news windows in news trading rules.
Frequently asked questions
Is the tracker free?
Yes. The CSV files are free and need no sign-up. Notion has its own plans; check them on notion.com.
Does it calculate drawdown for me?
No. It stores your limits and results. For the daily and total loss left on an account, use the prop firm drawdown calculator, which applies each firm's published formula.
Where do the rule numbers come from?
From you. Copy them from your firm's official rules page and write the date in "Rules read on". Firms change rules, so re-read before each phase.
