How the checklist and streak work Five points, one tick each; the streak counts days of preparation.
Tick the five points before you trade. When all are ticked the day counts; consecutive weekdays make the streak. It never counts trades. If you un-tick a point, the day stops counting. Everything stays in your browser.
What the alerts look like Schedules and windows only.
- "London opens in 30 minutes": today's scheduled core US releases, or "No scheduled core US release today".
- "CPI in 30 minutes (08:30 ET)": the release, and whether FTMO's page names it.
- "Tomorrow's US releases": the evening before, only when there is one.
Frequently asked questions
What is Marlin Today?
A one-minute page for the trading day: the scheduled US releases and the news windows your firm describes, the London and New York times in your zone, your daily loss allowance from the calculator, and a five-point checklist. Nothing here is a signal or a prediction.
What do the push alerts say?
They state schedules only: "London opens in 30 minutes" and the day's scheduled releases, "CPI in 30 minutes (08:30 ET)", and a preview of tomorrow's releases in the evening. No prices, no direction, no advice. At most four a day, on weekdays.
What does the streak count?
Days on which you ticked all five checklist points, over consecutive weekdays. It never counts trades, so it does not reward trading more. It is stored in your browser only.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. Your firm choice, checklist and calculator settings stay in this browser. Push alerts store only the browser's push subscription and the topics you choose, with no name, email or address.
