    Price call to your risk

Someone else's target, your stop. See what it costs you.

A price call tells you where someone hopes price goes, not what you lose if they are wrong. Copy in their entry and target, add your own stop and your account, and see your risk in money, your lot, the reward-to-risk with your stop and the win rate it needs to break even. No signals, nothing stored.

    The tool

From their call to your risk

Their call (as somebody else posted it)

Marlin gives and rates no calls. These are numbers you copy in; the example values are yours to choose.

    Your side

Units per lot are a common convention, not your broker's data: take the contract size from your platform's specification.

    Your numbers

Enter the call's entry and your own stop to see your risk.

Spread, slippage, gaps over the stop, commission and swap can make a real loss larger. Educational, not advice.

How to use it Three steps, thirty seconds.
    1. Copy the call's direction, entry and target as they posted it.
    2. Enter your own stop at a level that would show the idea is wrong. No stop, no trade.
    3. Read your risk, your lot and the win rate it needs. If it does not fit today's limit, skip it.
What it does not do Honest limits.
    • It does not judge the call, predict price or give a direction.
    • Units per lot are a convention: take the contract size, lot step and limits from your platform's specification.
    • Spread, slippage, gaps over the stop, commission and swap can make a real loss larger than the figures.

    Frequently asked questions

Does Marlin tell me whether a call is good?

No. We give and rate no calls and publish no price targets. The tool only turns numbers you enter (someone's entry and target, your stop, your account) into your risk, your lot and the win rate that call would need to break even.

Why do I need my own stop?

A call's target says where someone hopes price goes; your stop says how much you lose if they are wrong. Reward-to-risk and your lot both depend on your stop, so a call without one is not a plan.

What is the break-even win rate?

1 divided by (1 + reward-to-risk). At 1:1.5 it is 40%, at 1:2 about 33%, before spread and commission. It shows how often a call must win just to cover itself.

Why is the risk capped at 1%?

Because a static daily and overall loss limit turn a run of losses into the end of the account. The cap matches Trade Gate.

Is my data stored or sent?

No. Nothing is stored and nothing is sent: the numbers stay in this page.
